| So last night at small group we were playing a get-to-know-you game, and one of the questions was, "Where would you go if you won a free 3-day round-trip ticket to anywhere in the world?"
Each person had to put their answer down anonymously and we had to guess who wrote each answer. You would think that Sol & I would get all of each others' answers right, but I didn't know a lot of Sol's answers! Other than his first job was a paperboy.
For the free ticket question, I said Paris, b/c it was the first thing that popped into my head. Sol knew that was me right away.
Sol's answer was Bora Bora - and I totally didn't know that Sol would want to go to Bora Bora???? When I asked him later why there, he said he thought of the most expensive place he would want to go since it was a free ticket! Funny. Sol is always thinking about getting the most value out of something even if it is just pretend!
Also I didn't know that one of his recurring dreams was his teeth falling out???! Very weird. My recurring dream was being chased by a lion and our family having to hide in our house. I also have lots of dreams about being late to important events, and Sol said, "that's not a dream-- that's real life!"

| So Sol loves these See's candies called Mint Krispys. My sis got him a box for Christmas and he's been saving them ever since then, eating just one a day or so...I always feel bad for eating them but he usually shares with me ... Yesterday I thought I ate the last one in the box and felt sooo bad! But then he told me he has saved away a few for a rainy day... actually not for himself but for me in case I get in a bad mood and he has to feed me chocolate... hahahahaha Sol cracks me up... where does he think of these things??? always planning ahead. he learned early on in our relationship that food usually gets me out of a bad mood! | | |
| Today I walked into our bedroom and noticed that our ceiling was leaking right on to our bed !!! The water was dripping slowly but steadily through the light fixture and there was a small hole I could see in the ceiling. Our building was built in 1912 and it is falling APART! So sad... we had to move our mattress to the living room and we are camping out with our sleeping bag. There is now a big bucket in our bedroom collecting the water. Good thing it's stopped but I am so afraid that I'm going to come home and find the whole ceiling caved in! Our landlord is very unhelpful by the way... Does anyone have a home/townhouse/condo they are renting out in the near future? It is time for us to move!!!! | | |
